Saturday night I had some fun shooting with the Lomo. Before the burn I captured a fire juggler and a flame throwing vehicle somewhat admirably, I think, considering I didn't have a tripod. The burn itself was sort of the usual: fire dancers, fireworks, then conflagration. I don't mean to denigrate it in any way, but BM is more about the people than the actual burn itself. Toward that end, I found myself realizing that some of the more interesting images to be recorded were in the faces of the people watching. I took a few, but am considering bringing my "real" camera next year in order to get better ones.
