Night at BM was yet another world. To prevent collisions in the dark, almost everyone wore lights, ranginge from glow sticksa and flashlights to animated luminescent wire. Ours were neon, sometimes handheld, and sometimes mounted on our bikes. The art theme for 2000 was anatomy. One of the most prominent examples was a giant cartoonlike anus. People lined up to squeeze through the sphincter. That's Max sliding down the other side. One of my favorite characters was Dr. Megavolt, who in a grounded metal suit, plays with tesla coils that shoot enough electricity through the air to literally toast a human being from the inside out.
