In July, 1998, I rode in the Twin Cities-Wisconsin-Chicago AIDS Ride.Along with about 1,750 riders and 450 crew, I rode 500 miles from Minneapolis to Chicago in 6 days. It was long and hard, but I finished the whole thing and I'm glad I did. We rode to raise money for AIDS related organizations in the Minneapolis, Madison and Chicago areas. All told we raised about six million dollars, of which I am proud to say $4,500 was raised by me.Would I do it again? Well, not two years in a row, but I would consider doing it again someday. Would I recommend doing it to someone else? Absolutely, especially if you don't think you can. I have scanned some fun Ride photos for your viewing pleasure...I hope you enjoy them.
